Overview

My name is Kevin Mathis. Background is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Finance. Professional career began in Anti-Money Laundering with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a role I was recruited for. Moved to New York to work on Wall Street, and ended up in Operations, something I am surprisingly extremely effiecient in, hence the name of my company; Mathis Operations LLC.

Worked at Wells Fargo Securities, CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) Division, on their Manhattan Trading Floor doing ops-related work for the Derivatives desk intially. Quickly began building automations via VBA language which I taught myself at Wells to streamline my own duties and essentially automate tasks assigned to me which were expected to be completed daily. Automation success resulted in me essentially rebuilding the Excel files used by each Middle Office/Operations desk and maintaining them to ensure they wren’t just efficient, but continued to be efficient in the short and long term (e.g. fixing a file i build when it would break.

Graduated to the Buy-Side of Corporate finance after three years on the trading floor at Wells, and stayed about a year before leaving New York City, and moving to St. George, UT where I have my childhood best friend, parent and relatively long ancestral ties.

Mathis Operations is more a personal brand in which my identity is growing synonymous with,. It is essentially a personal brand yet also a legal entity (registered company) in which I use as the umbrella for all my operations involving buying, selling, transporting, storing, logistics, and of course operations.

Intending on scaling vertically and not horizontally, so the odds of me employing others is extremely unlikely.

This website is to showcase inventory and notable sales as well as provide an outlet for buyers outside Southern Utah to purchase off me.
